States.asp - Repeated Requests by 10 Simultaneous Connections

These numbers have not been altered in any way. They can be verified simply by running the same test on an 866 MHZ PIII using the SpeedGen ASP Licensed Edition. This test will fail using the Trial Edition because the Trial Edition is not allowed to have more than 1 concurrent connection. If you would like to verify the speed of the Trial Edition you can testStates.asp with 1 connection

Note

In order to create a real-world scenario, this test uses a random delay of between 0 and 5 seconds per connection.

Summary

According to the Report below, the States.xls spreadsheet was successfully created 215 times with no failures in a 1 minute, 3 second period. That is equal to over 12,000 spreadsheets per hour or over 300,000 spreadsheets per day! In the real-world this can be limited by the speed of the Internet connection.

The average generation time per spreadsheet was 163 milliseconds.
