KB52 - Does SpeedGen support Excel "protection" (workbook/worksheet passwords, etc.)?

SpeedGen will remember any protection you set in the template (the
"source workbook"). The protection settings will be carried through to
the generated workbook.

The one exception is a file-level password because this encrypts the
entire Excel workbook. So you will get an error if you apply a
file-level password. However, the other passwords should work.

A file-level password is one that you set when you choose "save as",
click Tools | General Options.
