| What is an Alias? |
|---|
When SpeedGen finds a Field Marker Alias in a Source Workbook it will convert the Alias into the Field Marker associated with the Alias.
| Why is this useful? |
Using Aliases you can isolate the database structure from the Source Workbook, so you can completely change your script to use another database or another kind of data source without modifying the Source Workbook at all. Another benefit is that Aliases make it easier for the person designing the Source Workbook to understand. They don't have to know anything about the data, just the name of the Alias.
