Docs: SpeedGen ASP: MTS / COM+

When an ASP Script is called under IIS, IIS will create an MTS / COM+ Package (based on your Virtual Directory's Application Protection Setting) and invoke SpeedGen ASP in that context. What this means is that is that SpeedGen ASP can be run in a Medium (Pooled) or High (Isolated) process without having to explicitly create an MTS / COM+ Package for it. The only thing required for this to work is that XLSpeedGenASP.dll be registered with regsvr32.exe (if you run the setup program then this is done automatically)

• ADO RecordSets cannot be passed to SpeedGen across process boundaries. Therefore you cannot use ADO directly with SpeedGen running under a Server Application. You can work around it by retrieving ADO data using the ADO RecordSet GetRows method and passing it to SpeedGen as an Array.
• If you try to pass ADO Recordsets to SpeedGen in a Server Application then you will receive a "The Stub has received Bad Data" Error.
• For these reasons it is recommended that you do not install SpeedGen in an MTS / COM+ Package unless you really need to.

• Everything works just fine.
